    Old timey chain that I've loved since I was a kid. Their burgers are thin yet flavorful, like Steak N Shake steak burgers but better. Shoestring fries are perfectly potato-y yet light. The ice creams are so good, and always the best part of going here.

    This is my go to each time I visit Evansville. 1st Avenue is the very best! I miss living in Evansville and being able to eat here when I want. I recommend the 3 way chili.  Even though it is not on the menu they always make my grilled cheese to eat with my meal. Staff is always awesome and the place is always clean. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

    We had excellent service and the young man taking our order was patient and kind. There however is a light that needs fixing in the dining area that may cause a seizure. Fix that soon so I may return.

    Great place to grab a burger and fries!
    Awesome 50's themed chain diner with food made right in front of you! Great customer service and amazing food! A little pricier than some others but you definitely get more bang for your buck. Ice cream is 100% homemade and better than anywhere else. Probably some of the best burgers in Evansville!

    This place has always been my fav lil ice cream shop. :)
    It has that old school vibe to it. Although I've never tried their food, I do know that their ice cream is fulfilling, emotionally and literally. I'm a huge ice cream fan, and so far this has been my favorite place.
